Google to Unveil Its Google Glass

Larry Page and Sergey Brin to Attend

SILICON VALLEY, CA – To unveil Google Glass, Google will host an event at 11:00 am, on November19, 2013, at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View.

Google CEO Larry Page and Google Co-founder Sergey Brin will deliver opening remarks, and Sergey Brin will introduce the product. After the product release, a tryout will open to the public to provide the first-hand experience of Google Glass.

Light refreshment will be served to the public through the tryout. Raffles for Google Glass gift cards and customizing Google Glass will be available to participants who try out Google Glass.

“It’s a revolutionary product to provide brand new ways to connect with your families and friends,” said Eric E. Schmidt, the executive chairman of Google. “You can totally free your hands from cameras to enjoy your trip while recording every moment you like.”

Google Glass is a wearable computer built in a frame to let the display of photos, films or messages on the go. It can respond to voice commands to take photos, record videos or translate words. Notation: I wrote this 1-page press release announcing the Google Glass’s coming. This and last press release announcing Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women are both my assignments for writing course. During the course, I not only learnt how to write press release, I also got to know use active verbs, clear and simple wording, and short paragraphs.
